KRO Hospitality has acquired Asha’s restaurant in Manchester, with plans to incorporate a new 49-bedroom boutique hotel.
The 100-cover restaurant occupies two floors of 47 Peter Street, which KRO Hospitality acquired the freehold for earlier this year.
The Manchester-based hospitality group plans to convert the top two floors of the building into a hotel, planned to open in 2019.

General manager, Helena Doskocz, will continue to manage the restaurant with executive head chef, Ashwani Rangta.
Asha’s Manchester opened in 2015 and is one of 17 global restaurants operating under the brand .
KRO Hospitality also owns Canal Street’s Velvet Hotel and neighbouring restaurant Mr White’s English Chophouse in Manchester.
