Belgian-based, ready-to-fill pastry manufacturer Pidy has expanded its Technipat frozen sponge sheet range with a new raspberry flavour. The sponge sheets are suitable for a range of applications, from layered cakes through to individual desserts or a classic opera cake with a raspberry twist. The frozen sheets have a shelf life of 12 months but can be defrosted in minutes.

Melitta Professional Coffee Solutions has a new range for foodservice incorporating a four-strong selection of speciality coffees. The new Café Bar Selection complements the company’s existing range and contains 100% Rainforest Alliance-certified Arabica beans. Varieties include medium roast – a fruity, smooth, highly drinkable blend, well-balanced for milky drinks – and a higher-strength dark roast with rich, savoury notes.

Salcombe Brewery Co has launched a limited-edition yuletide ale, Christmas Tide, available for the first time in bottles and gift packs, as well as bag-in-boxes and on draught. Christmas Tide (ABV 4.9%) is a malt-driven beer with chocolate and wheat to add warmth and body.

Ginger Beer by Supermalt is made using real ginger extract and a delicate hint of lemongrass for a refreshing drink with a fiery kick. The new beverage is available in both an original and a zero-sugar variant and comes in a choice of 330ml glass bottles or cans.

The Pished Fish company has paired salmon’s nutritional credentials (omega-3 fatty acids, potassium and B vitamins) with alcohol and botanicals to a create a smoked salmon with a difference. Scottish salmon from supplier Loch Duart is used to make Dark & Stormy (rum, ginger, lime and agave nectar) and Erik the Red (aquavit, juniper, star anise and beetroot), as well as a non-alcoholic juniper and cherry-infused version.
