The Caterer's Katherine Price to star in Springboard's Dick Whittington
The Caterer's Katherine Price will star as the lead role of Alice in the hospitality industry's pantomime performance of Dick Whittington.
Organised by industry charity Springboard, the show will run over four nights from 29 January until 1 February 2019 at the Leicester Square Theatre in London's West End.
The professionally directed and choreographed show features a line up of familiar faces from some of the UK's leading hospitality businesses, including the Ritz London, Mitchells & Butlers and HIT Training.
Liam Wood from the New World Trading Company will star as Dick and The Caterer‘s senior reporter Katherine Price will play Alice, while Bob Silk from Barclays and David Cowdrey from Cavalry & Guards will play the dames in chef whites.
Anne Pierce, chief executive of Springboard, said: "The script has been written from scratch for the cast to perform Springboard's very own version of Dick Whittington. So, expect plenty of fun as Dick travels to London to start his career as a chef - with a little help from some all-singing and all-dancing hospitality characters along the way!
"Bring your team along for a fantastic evening's entertainment as we celebrate all that makes hospitality great. This is a night not to be missed."
Sponsored by The Caterer, all money raised by the pantomime will help Springboard provide career help for unemployed people within the hospitality industry.
Tickets, which start from £27.50, can be purchased from the panto website.
