IM Group invites expressions of interest for the provision of Hospitality & Catering Services for its all new state of the art facility located in Shirley, Solihull. IM Group is made up of three arms, IM Properties, International Motors, (Isuzu UK, Subaru UK and Great Wall UK). for which they are the UK’s importers and UK representatives for Subaru, Izuzu and Great Wall, and Funding Cooperation. The move is in response to IM’s current offices in Coleshill being acquired by HS2 to make way for the London to Birmingham High Speed line.
This new cutting edge facility will provide stunning new offices, meeting and boardrooms and luxury sky lounge complete with staff gym and an upscale Sky Lounge restaurant and coffee bar to the IM Groups staff and guests. IM Group employs over 250 staff and will welcome guests to the new HQ daily.
The catering will provide light breakfast and lunch, functioning on an ad hoc basis. There will also be provision of cold buffet style catering to ground and first floor meeting rooms as required.
For staff dining there will be a counter-style service arrangement with hot and cold menu options, salad bar, grab-and-go sandwiches, box salads and snacks, hot and cold drinks available, as well as impulse and sweet items. In addition there will be a coffee bar with a range of fair-trade coffees, snacks and a small selection of grab-and-go items. The counter will present a “live cooking” section for theatre and customer interaction.
The foodservice area will be able to provide buffets, working lunches and small functions in the directors’ meeting rooms. The focus of the foodservice area will be to provide fabulous food with exceptional service on day-to-day basis for the staff on site as well as guests of IM Properties.
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced hospitality and catering service provider. The catering provision is expected to start in June 2019.
The successful contractor must provide a high quality daily catering service to the staff and visitors of the IM Group. To be considered, contractors will need to complete a pre qualifying questionnaire which will require contractors demonstrate clearly that they have the necessary financial acumen, technical skills and experience of operating successfully within a demanding hospitality and catering environment. The contract is expected to commence June 2019 and will be for a period of 3 years with a potential of a further 2 years extension at the discretion of the client. This contract procurement will be advertised on a number of portals / media platforms and does not fall into the procurement regulations for Public Contracts Regulations.
