Black and White Hospitality has taken over the day-to-day operation of the 29-bedroom Lansbury Heritage Hotel in London’s Docklands.
Led by hotels managing director Shezan Aslam, Black and White Hospitality will also provide strategic management advice for the Grade II-listed property in order to optimise its profitability. The hotel also has a spa and restaurant. Alfaz Kabiri is listed as a person with significant control over the privately owned company on Companies House.
Aslam said: “We will now work closely with the hotel’s owners to improve its all-round operation, revenue and profitability.”
Chairman and chief executive Nick Taplin, who founded Black and White Hospitality in 2013 with chef Marco Pierre White, said: “This is the second London-based hotel that we now manage with a third to follow in Q1 2019.”
Specialising in the management of both branded and independent hotels, the firm’s portfolio spans from limited service hotels through to luxury full-service hotels, including the DoubleTree by Hilton Snow Hill Birmingham, Hampton by Hilton Sheffield, the New Road hotel in London, Hotel Indigo Birmingham and the DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol South.
