Jake Saul Watkins to sell JSW after losing Michelin star in 2019 guide

Chef Jake Saul Watkins has put his Petersfield restaurant JSW up for sale after deciding to step away from the business.

Watkins has operated JSW for 18 years, receiving a Michelin star in 2004. The chef retained the accolade for a decade and a half, losing the award in the 2019 edition of the guide.

He said: "After 18 fantastic years I will be swapping my whites to concentrate on other business interests.

"It is with a heavy heart that I decided to move on from JSW, mainly because it is still a fantastically profitable business."

The grade II listed property, a former coaching inn, is now on the market with a guide price of £1.25m.
