New GM for Barton Grange hotel, Preston

Joseph Henry has joined the four-AA-starred Barton Grange hotel in Preston, Lancashire, as general manager.

He joins the 51-bedroom property with a wealth of hotel experience that includes management roles with the De Vere Group and QHotels.

Henry's role at Barton Grange includes managing the 100-strong team of staff and overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the hotel, which features refurbished conference and event spaces and the Walled Garden.

Commenting on his appointment, Henry said: "The hotel has so much to offer both corporate and leisure guests and importantly has an incredible team for whom great, genuine guest service is a must. I am delighted to be working with them and look forward to the challenges ahead."
