Malmaison appoints two new general managers

Malmaison has appointed new general managers at its Cheltenham and Belfast hotels.

Antonio Sanchez has been promoted to general manager of Malmaison Cheltenham, overseeing a team of 62, having previously held the position of deputy general manager at Malmaison Oxford.

Meanwhile Chris McLaughlin will take over the running of Malmaison Belfast (pictured) and its 55-strong team, having joined from Hasting Culloden Estate and Spa in Northern Ireland, where he was deputy general manager.

"Their focus on customer service and guest experience gives me total confidence that both Chris and Antonio with be hugely successful in their roles, and I look forward to working with them in their new capacities over the coming year to build on the existing success of both hotels."
