Taiwanese steamed bun brand Bao to launch Borough Market site

Steamed bun brand Bao is set to launch its fourth site in Borough Market, London, in the coming months.

The JKS Restaurants-operated chain will launch in spring in the world-famous market, alongside established names including Padella and Wright Brothers. It replaces Feng Sushi in the new site on 13 Stoney Street.

Erchen Chang and siblings Shing Tat and Wai Ting Chung opened their first permanent Bao restaurant in Soho in 2015 following the success of the original Taiwanese-influenced Bao bar in Hackney. Their second permanent location opened in Fitzrovia in 2016.
