Gill family in plea to missing chef

The family of Nick Gill, former Michelin-starred chef and brother of Sunday Times restaurant critic AA Gill, are appealing for news of his whereabouts six years after he disappeared.

The father-of-two would now be aged 48. He opened restaurants in London and Norfolk but also worked around the country and in Paris.

Gill's mother, Yvonne, said: "Wherever you are and whatever is happening in your life, we would like to hear that you are safe. There is no pressure on you to come home; just let us know you are OK. We miss you so much and would like to tell you all the family news."

Nick is 6ft tall, of medium build with brown hair and blue eyes.

n If you have information about the whereabouts of Nick Gill, please ring the National Missing Persons Helpline on Freephone 0500 700 700. Nick Gill can also pass on a message by calling Freephone 0800 700 740. All calls are confidential.
