Renaud Gregoire has been promoted from foyer manager to food and beverage manager at Claridge’s hotel in London. Former assistant manager of banqueting operations Hicham Lahouaoui has become room services manager.
Matthew Thomas has become operations director at contract caterer Holroyd Howe. He was sales manager at the company.
Darren Neilan has been promoted to assistant restaurant manager at independent restaurant One-O-One in London’s Knightsbridge. He was junior assistant restaurant manager.
The Oriental Restaurant Group has appointed Carolyn Sinclair, previously senior brand manager at Scottish & Newcastle Retail, as its marketing director.
Stephen Wheeler has been appointed executive chef for the new Wembley Stadium, taking up his post in the new year. Catering at the stadium will be provided by Delaware North Companies, which Wheeler will join from the Grove hotel in Hertfordshire, where he is executive chef.
The City Inn in Bristol has selected Peter Bissoo as manager of its modern European restaurant, City Café. He was previously an operations manager with Macdonald Hotels in Kent.
David Hunter, general manager of Matfen Hall hotel in Newcastle upon Tyne, has been promoted to the newly created position of director. He will retain his general management duties.
