Dorset dining pub changes hands

The Rest and Welcome Inn, a traditional West Country dining pub in Dorset, has been sold to Jill Scott.

The two-storey character property in Melbury Osmond lies on the busy A37 tourist route from Yeovil to Dorchester.

It provides two bar areas to seat around 44 customers, a skittle alley, a 24-seat trade patio, an outdoor children's play area, a private garden, and parking for 25 cars.

Private accommodation includes two double bedrooms and a single bedroom/office.

Stonesmith of Exeter sold the freehold off a guide price of £495,000 on behalf of Campbell and Alison Black.
