Independent Edinburgh pub owner buys the Crown & Cushion

Edinburgh pub operator Arthur Pearson has bought the popular Crown & Cushion, which becomes his fourth pub in the city.

He bought the freehold on the property for close to the £345,000 asking price.

The pub is located on Jock's Lodge, a busy road leading to city centre. The traditional bar has seating for around 52 people on the first floor and a beer chill room and storage room in the basement.

A generous owners' flat on the first floor has three large double bedrooms, a bathroom, living room, kitchen, utility room, and attic storage.

The sale was handled for seller, S&N Pub enterprises, by licensed, leisure and hotel property agent Creevy LHH.
