Kingly sum for Queens Court

Close to the asking price of £1.65m has been achieved by the Queens Court Hotel, in Exeter. The 18-bedroom hotel features the award-winning 30-cover Olive Tree Restaurant and a function room for up to 80 people, which includes a separate bar and dance-floor. New owners are Chris and Bridget Bowring, who also own the Quayside Hotel in the nearby village of Brixham. Agent was Christie and Co, acting for Mike and Susan Sharpes.
