Local couple buy Gordon House Hotel

The three-star Gordon House Hotel in Kirkcudbright has sold on behalf of Neil Bird and Angela Carter for close to the asking price of £465,000. The property features eight en-suite letting bedrooms, a 24-cover restaurant, plus capacity for a further 24 covers in the lounge bar. New owners, John and Soenaid Crawford, a local couple, were also attracted by the hotel's two-bedroom owners' accommodation. The agent was Christie and Co.
