Locals buy freehouse in West Wales

John and Cath Seel, have bought their local freehouse in the Welsh village of Cenarth, Ceredigion.

The Three Horseshoes pub is set high above the River Teifi in Cenarth and, unusually, has a thatched coffee house on its grounds.

The Seels, who have owned a cottage in Cenarth for the past five years, intend to run the recently-refurbished tavern as a traditional all-day freehouse serving quality, home-cooked food.

The Cirencester office of Colliers Robert Barry was seeking £395,000 for the property on behalf of the vendor, Gareth Evans.
