Managed pub company Mitchells & Butlers has sold the Rising Sun on the edge of Epping Forest to a property investor for a close to the £1.5m asking price.

The three-storey, art deco-style property occupies green belt land in Walthamstow, East London.

The late-night venue operates a contemporary late-night bar with a central servery and DJ booth on the ground floor and a second bar/function room on the first floor.

Private accommodation includes three double bedrooms, a manager's office and two bathrooms on the first floor and two double bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and shower/WC on the second level.

The Rising Sun also has a paved trade garden to the rear and a 25-bay car park.

Licensed leisure specialist AG&G marketed the freehold on the property.
