Mediterranean meets Preston

Renee and Tracey Mollinga have sold the El Nido Restaurant after 17 years for close to £525,000. The restaurant, situated on the A6 north of Preston, has space for 55 covers and a separate bar area. Owner's accommodation comprises a four-bedroom flat. New owner, Paul Milburn from Cumbria, has teamed up with local chef, James Foice, and plans to refurbish and re-brand the restaurant with a Mediterranean theme. The agent was Colliers Robert Barry.
