New owner for Devon estuary inn

Millbrook Inn, an estuary inn at South Pool near Kingsbridge in South Devon, has been sold to a local licensee and restaurateur.

It is located in the centre of the village, which is popular among the boating fraternity, and offers two bars with 48 seats inside and seating for another 40 diners across two outdoor patio areas.

Private accommodation on the first floor comprises two en-suite bedrooms and a living room.
The new owners have revamped the food menu to focus on fish and seafood, added new lines of wine, champagne and cask ales, and installed a professional barbecue to cater for boating visitors in the summer.

Stonesmith of Exeter sold the free-of-tie lease off an asking price of £69,950 on behalf of Claire Starkey.
