New owners at the Holly Tree in Exmouth

The Holly Tree, a thriving community pub in the Devon town of Exmouth, has been sold to Tina and Mark Wright.

The ground floor of the detached, two-storey building provides an open plan lounge bar that can seat 36, a snug area for pools and darts, and a 20-seat dining room.

Upstairs is a 20-seat function room along with spacious owners' accommodation that includes five bedrooms, an office, kitchen, lounge, and bathroom.

Outside, the property has a rear trade garden, a garage and parking bays for 20 cars.

The pub enjoys year-round business and is well-supported by the local community. It runs five darts and four pool teams, as well as an euchre team, and is patronised after matches by the local hockey club and cricket team.

Property agent Stonesmith of Exeter sold the pub for a sum close to the £110,000 asking price on behalf of the vendors, Ben Harding and Sarah Thomas.
