New owners for Somerset inn

The Swan at Kingston, a popular village inn near the Quantock Hills in Somerset, has changed hands.

The property is set in Kingston St Mary in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty three miles from the county town of Taunton.

The family-friendly pub, which runs nine skittles teams, provides an open-plan bar with 44 seats, a five-bedroom private flat, a trade garden with 30 seats, and a private garden.

The new owners are Trisha McCarren and Andrew Sims, who is a licensee with 25 years' experience. They have refurbished and redecorated the property and installed a new chef and menu.

Stonesmith of Exeter sold the leasehold off a guide price of £98,000 on behalf of Trevor Smith.
