New owners for Tiverton inn

Experienced hospitality operators Philip and Karen Grattan have bought the Twyford Inn, which lies at the outskirts of the Devon town of Tiverton.

The Grattans have clocked up a combined 19 years in the hospitality trade and Philip has worked in London for Harvey Nichols, the Elysium Night Club below the Café Royal and chef Jean-Christophe Novelli, as well as Nigel Mansell's Woodbury Park hotel in Devon.

The end-of-terrace inn comprises a main bar with two seat areas to accommodate 45 guests, as well as a sports area with pool table and gaming machines.

It also provides six-bedroom owners' accommodation, along with a 60-seat paved trade area outside and a two-storey storage barn.

Stonesmith of Exeter sold the Enterprise Inns lease off a guide price of £105,000.
