Oxfordshire pub group buys Falmouth pub

Regimental Inns, a small pub group based in Thame, Oxfordshire, has bought its second property in the shape of the Falmouth Inn in Cornwall.

The detached, three-storey community pub is one of a number of premises being marketed by Christie + Co on behalf of tenanted pub giant Enterprise Inns.

The property in Dracaena View is beside the A39 on the edge of a large housing estate and is just half a mile from the town centre of Falmouth.

It has both lounge and public bars, a 40-capacity function room, four-bedroom owners' accommodation, and a large car park.

There is also room to add six letting bedrooms if desired.

Regimental Inns will allow the existing tenants to remain.

The Exeter office of Christie & Co sold the property for in excess of the £275,000 asking price.
