A galleried area on the first floor provides more seating and dining for 20 customers, while the three-bedroom owners' flat is spread across the first and second floors. .

Outside, the Rope & Anchor has parking for 32 cars, a beer garden and children's play area to the rear, and two outbuildings used for ice-cream sales and storage.

The Manchester office of Colliers Robert Barry sold the freehold off a guide price of £750,000.
