The Brennan family returns to The Roost in Birmingham

The Roost community pub in Birmingham has been sold to the son of a former owner of the business.

Patrick Brennan from County Wexford in Ireland has acquired The Roost for the guide price of £275,000.

The detached, two-storey brick property sits on the B4128 in Cattell Road, Bordesley Green.

Along with two bars, the pub boasts three-bedroom owners' accommodation, a beer garden and a private parking yard.

The Birmingham office of Christie + Co handled the sale on behalf of national pub operator Enterprise Inns.
