Founded by entrepreneur Robin Birley, we proudly operate two exclusive clubs in London: 5 Hertford Street and Oswald’s, alongside our Birley Bakery and Chocolate Shop in Chelsea. In 2025, we expanded internationally with the opening of Maxime’s in New York City, complemented by our newest Birley Bakery location.

Bertrand Richaud is a shining example of where a careeer in RB Holdings can take you. He joined RB Holdings in 2014 as a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie and over the past 11 years has refined his craft with creativity and precision, rising steadily through the ranks.
Today, he leads pastry operations across three kitchens across the club. His journey has been defined not only by technical mastery, but also by his commitment to nurturing talent and is a testament to the opportunities for growth and excellence within our business.
In the dynamic and ever-evolving world of fine dining, Daniele Maiello stands as a true embodiment of excellence, expertise and passion. His journey with RB Holdings began in 2017 as a Chef de Rang at 5 Hertford Street, where his natural talent for hospitality and attention to detail quickly set him apart.
Daniele’s deep-rooted passion for wine led him to pursue a role as Sommelier (and currently Head Sommelier) at Oswald’s, where he continued to elevate the member experience through his knowledge, service and leadership. His dedication to RB Holdings’ ethos of refined, personalised hospitality has been instrumental in shaping the culture and collaborative spirit of the team.
Recognising his potential, RB Holdings invested in Daniele’s growth by sponsoring the costs of his CMI Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership at the School of Business London. This formal training equipped him with the strategic and operational skills needed to take the next step in his career.
Now, Daniele is preparing to take on his most exciting role yet: Restaurant Director at Maxime’s Club in New York City, a bold new chapter in in his career. His journey reflects the company’s commitment to recognising talent and creating meaningful career pathways.
