This cocktail was created by Spike Mason, mixologist at Huŏ restaurants in London’s Chelsea and Belsize Park.

The Asian Negroni packs all the punch of a traditional Negroni, but with the addition of Martini red and sake, resulting in a vibrant red drink.

The twist on the classic aperitivo was created to pair perfectly with the restaurants’ menu of dim sum, lobster crackers and Asian noodles.

Ingredients

  • 25ml Bombay Sapphire gin
  • 25ml Campari
  • 25ml vermouth
  • 25ml Martini red
  • 15ml house sake
  • Slice of orange to garnish

Method

Pour all ingredients into a rocks glass with ice and stir. Place a slice of orange on top to garnish.
