Aloft Birmingham Eastside to open this month
The Aloft Birmingham Eastside hotel will open on 22 February, with the adjacent Eastside Rooms conference venue to follow on 1 April.
Operating under Aloft, Marriott's boutique brand, the 195-bedroom hotel will be run by Interstate Hotels & Resorts and feature a W XYZ cocktail bar and Tempo! restaurant, serving an à la carte and grill offering and showcasing local performers.
The Eastside Rooms will have 23 event spaces and the largest pillar-free ballroom in the city centre, large enough to hold 1,200 delegates. The venue has committed to sending zero waste to landfill and its menus will have a ‘plant-first' approach, with meat additions available.
The dual scheme is part of Birmingham's 20-year major regeneration project within the Eastside area of the city.
