JKS Restaurants first opened Ambassadors Clubhouse in London in summer 2024
JKS has announced that its New York outpost of Ambassadors Clubhouse will open on 11 February 2026.
The restaurant will open at 1245 Broadway in Manhattan’s NoMad neighbourhood and will offer guests Punjabi cuisine inspired by the royal kitchens as well as food from roadside eateries.
It is named after the Sethis’ grandfather, who was a former Indian ambassador, and the interiors will take inspiration from his summer house in Dalhousie and the abandoned party mansions of Northern India.
Ambassadors Clubhouse will be open seven nights a week for dinner service and lunch on weekends, with chef Karan Mittal leading the kitchen.
Mittal, who is from New Delhi, worked at Indian Accent in both India and New York City, as well as at Coi, Le Gavroche, Portland and Ananda.
JKS Restaurants – which was founded by siblings Jyotin, Karam and Sunaina Sethi in 2008 – announced it would launch two of its Indian restaurant brands in the US last summer, with Gymkhana the first opening in Las Vegas in December 2025.
JKS also plans to launch its Gymkhana Fine Foods retail brand in the US.
There are now 35 restaurants within the JKS group in London and the Middle East.
