Not-for-profit social enterprise has launched a survey to explore pay disparities, career pathways and progression barriers across the industry
Be Inclusive Hospitality is calling on operators to contribute to a survey to better understand inequities in pay, progression and workplace experience.
The survey is part of its Better Hospitality campaign, which aims to build a fairer, stronger and more inclusive hospitality industry.
The organisation is calling on everyone in hospitality to share their views in a survey that will explore pay disparities, career pathways and progression barriers across the industry. The results will be presented in a report launched in September.
Be Inclusive Hospitality chief executive and founder Lorraine Copes said: “By gathering robust insight and working with senior leaders and employers to meet practical standards, we can create the conditions for fair progression, better workplaces and a stronger industry.
“The Better Hospitality survey is a crucial first step, and we need to hear voices from every corner of hospitality. We encourage everyone working in the sector to take the short survey and help contribute to the change ahead.”
