Billesley Manor completes £2.5m first phase of renovation

Billesley Manor has completed the first phase of its renovation, with £2.5m spent this year ahead of further plans next year.

The 72-bedroom hotel near Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire has spent £1m on refurbishing its Topiary wedding suite and a further £1.5m on its historic barn bedrooms and spa areas, including a new reception area.

Phase two is set to take place next spring, where a further 35 bedrooms will be renovated.

The Grade II-listed, 16th-century manor was put on the market in April 2016 as part of Lone Star's 10-strong Hotel Collection, marketed with a guide price in excess of £8m, and was sold in 2017 to Mohit Burman and Shashank Bhagat. It is managed by Bespoke Hotels.

Jo Reeves, sales and marketing director at Billesley Manor, said: "We are thrilled with the first phase of refurbishments and we cannot wait to welcome lots of newly engaged couples through the door for a tour of our gorgeous new wedding suite. The bedrooms also look stunning and we can't wait for the rest of the bedrooms to be redone to follow suit."
