Michelle Farrell will oversee the food hall brand’s sales, events, marketing and commercial functions
Shipping container leisure concept Boxpark has appointed Michelle Farrell as the company’s first chief growth officer (CGO).
Farrell will oversee the sales, events, marketing and commercial functions of the business as part of a commitment to accelerating growth and expanding its UK estate.
She has more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality sector, most recently as group sales and marketing director at bar operator Nightcap Group.
Prior to that, she held several senior positions at Stonegate Group and Novus Leisure.
Farrell joins the Boxpark team following the recent launch of Boxhall City in London’s Liverpool Street, with an upcoming site in Digbeth, Birmingham, due to open this year.

The company has shaken up its senior team this year, with Snell joining as CEO in March after Chris Burford was appointed chief financial officer in January.
This year, Boxpark also launched an immersive social gaming experience, Playbox, based at its Croydon site.
In 2024, the operator opened two sites in Liverpool and Camden and this year announced a lease extension on is flagship Shoreditch venue.
