Broken Eggs to open debut restaurant next month

Spanish tortilla restaurant Broken Eggs is to open its first location in London's Fitzrovia in the first week of June.

Brother and sister pair Gabriel Larraz and Marta Verdu originally launched the brand as a dark kitchen in central London last year.

The new restaurant will offer home-style Spanish cooking, such as salads, cheeses, charcuterie, and the ‘bocadillo' sandwich.

Tortilla fillings will include eggs and potatoes, hand carved Iberico ham, acorn fed chorizo spread and courgettes.

The duo have committed to using the freshest ingredients and preparing authentic Spanish tortillas.

Larraz said: "My sister Marta and I could not be more excited, after a year of testing our concept working from a dark kitchen in central London, giving our customers the chance of experiencing our food in person is a dream come true."
