Bruce Group buys Drovers Inn for over £3m

The Drovers Inn at Inverarnan, Stirling, has been sold to the Bruce Group off an asking price of over £3m.

The inn has been on the same site for over 300 years and had been owned by Ernest Strang since 2004.

Kevan Fullerton and Scott Piatkowski founded Bruce Group Scotland in 1999, which manages and leases a portfolio of 19 pubs in and around Edinburgh, including the Royal Mile Tavern and the George IV bar.

Gary Louttit, head of hospitality & leisure at Shepherd Chartered Surveyors, which completed the sale, said: "I am delighted to have been instructed to sell such an iconic hotel and to have been able to secure a sale of the Drovers on behalf of our clients.

"And I am particularly pleased to have sold the Drovers to operators whom I know will take the business on to a new level of prosperity in the future."
