Cail Bruich owners enter F&B partnership with Scottish seaside resort

The team behind the Michelin-starred Cail Bruich in Glasgow has partnered with the Village at Machrihanish Dunes to put the Scottish seaside golf resort’s restaurants “firmly on the culinary map”.

Paul and Chris Charalambous, the founders of Cultar Restaurant Group, and group digital content and marketing co-ordinator Rachel Taylor will work together with the Campbeltown resort to enhance its food and beverage offering.

Cultar plans to elevate the menus at the Kintyre Restaurant and the Old Clubhouse pub by welcoming suppliers such as Campbells Prime Meat and Kintyre Smokehouse, as well as showcasing shellfish from Loch Fyne, oysters from Cumbrae and venison from Skipness.

Moreover, the team will support Machrihanish Dunes with improving the level of service across its restaurants and bars.

Paul said: “We are absolutely delighted to be involved in the food and beverage operation at Machrihanish Dunes. As long-time admirers of the exceptional golfing experience on the Kintyre peninsula, we recognise the unique opportunity to complement these world-class facilities with an elevated dining offering.

The Royal hotel in Campbeltown will relaunch the Harbourview Grille later this year.

Cultar Restaurant Group was launched in 2006 and operates several restaurants across Glasgow, including Cail Bruich, Brett, the Clarence and the Caravan Shop.

The Village at Machrihanish Dunes consists of two hotels – the Ugadale hotel and cottages and the Royal hotel – as well as a golf course, spa and several F&B outlets.
