The two-bedroom treehouses are targeting the luxury family market
Calcot & Spa in the Cotswolds has launched its newly built treehouses, priced at £1,180 a night.
The two treehouses have been created by specialist treehouse company Blue Forest using reclaimed timber cladding and are located within the hotel’s 220 acres of rewilded meadowland.
Each treehouse features a master bedroom, loft-style twin room, living area and private deck that offers outdoor seating and a sauna.
Interiors have been designed by Cathy Birtles and draw on the surrounding landscape, leaning into soft, natural textures and warm lighting.
In-room amenities include a small pantry area, binoculars for birdwatching, rewilding maps, and a selection of locally sourced treats.
For dining options, guests can opt for room service or the Brasserie on the main site.
Complimentary bike hire and access to the hotel’s spa and fitness facilities are also available.
The launch of the treehouses comes roughly three years after the Calcot Collection announced it was investing £7m into its portfolio, the majority of which was earmarked for its flagship property, Calcot & Spa in Tetbury.
Richard Ball, executive chairman of Calcot Collection, told The Caterer in 2024 of his plans to build four Treehouses in a bid to capture the luxury family market.
The Calcot Collection consists of Calcot & Spa and the Painswick in the Cotswolds, as well as the Lord Crewe Arms in the North Pennines.
