Chef Michael Turner swaps the Beaumont for the Belmond Cadogan

Michael Turner, former executive chef at the Beaumont, has been appointed executive chef at the Belmond Cadogan hotel in London’s Chelsea.

The chef takes over from Chris Hill, who announced his departure from the Chelsea hotel earlier this month after four years in the role.

Prior to joining the Belmond property, Turner was executive chef at the Beaumont in London’s Mayfair and executive head chef at the Savoy Grill in the Strand, which is part of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants.

In an announcement on Instagram, the chef said: “It’s a privilege to lead such an incredible culinary team in one of London’s most iconic hotels, and I can’t wait to bring my passion, creativity and love for exceptional dining to our guests. Here’s to new beginnings, bold flavours and unforgettable experiences.”

Meanwhile, the Beaumont is set to relaunch the Colony Grill Room as Rosi under the leadership of culinary director Lisa Goodwin-Allen.
