The foodservice giant said business and industry was its strongest-performing sector globally
Compass Group has delivered organic revenue growth of 7.1% in its latest quarter.
The foodservice giant said that its North America business led the way with a 7.5% boost, while the rest of the world delivered 6.4% revenue growth in the third quarter ended 30 June 2026.
Net new business growth accelerated into the target range of 4%-5%, while client retention remained at 96%.
Business and industry was its strongest-performing sector globally, generating double-digit organic growth and more than $2b (£1.5b) worth of new business.
Compass said it has also tapped into AI datacentres by providing food and facilities support services during construction and operation of the sites.
While the 2026 World Cup boosted volumes in North America, Compass conceded its broader sports and leisure division still has a sizeable opportunity to scale in an “under-penetrated market”, as more venues sought to elevate the fan experience.
The global caterer said its education and healthcare and senior living segments had also continued to build momentum.
Its net expenditure on mergers and acquisitions was $2.4b (£1.9b) for the year to date, largely similar to last year’s figures.
The group said it remained confident in delivering underlying operating profit growth of above 11% constant currency.
Dominic Blakemore, chief executive of Compass Group, said: “Our business continues to perform strongly, driven by the strength of our sector-focused model, disciplined execution and resilient client demand. We are winning market share across multiple sectors, supported by the strongest pipeline of opportunities we have ever seen.
“With an addressable market exceeding $360b (£268b) and significant opportunities to further increase penetration, we remain confident in delivering another year of strong earnings growth and continued margin progression.”
Compass Group operates in more than 25 countries, generating underlying revenues of over $46b (£34b) in 2025.
