The Corporate Guest Services Awards 2026 Finalists Assessment Day brought together the best in the business across three categories – here’s how the day unfolded and what’s next
Finalists in the Corporate Guest Services Awards 2026 gathered for the final stage of the competition, taking part in the Finalists Assessment Day, where the industry’s top talent was put to the test in front of the judging panel.
Following a rigorous selection process that included written submissions and semi‑final interviews, the Finalists Assessment Day brought together the highest‑scoring candidates across all three categories, Receptionist of the Year, Reception Leader of the Year, and Workplace Host of the Year.
The day provided finalists with the opportunity to showcase their skills, experience and approach to guest services through a series of structured assessments and conversations with judges. Each finalist was evaluated individually, with a focus on professionalism, communication, and their ability to deliver exceptional guest and workplace experiences.
Throughout the day, finalists demonstrated a high level of commitment to service excellence, reflecting the evolving expectations placed on guest‑services professionals across the corporate sector. The standard was notably strong, with candidates bringing a combination of practical expertise, emotional intelligence and innovative thinking to each stage of the assessment.
Judges assessed finalists against a range of criteria aligned to each category, ensuring a fair and consistent evaluation process.
The 2026 competition continues to highlight the breadth of the corporate guest‑services profession, from front‑of‑house reception roles to leadership and workplace hospitality.
The introduction of the Workplace Host of the Year category this year further reflects the growing importance of roles focused on community, engagement and workplace experience, alongside traditional reception and leadership positions.
Following the Finalists Assessment Day, judges will complete the final scoring process to determine the winners in each category.
Winners will be announced at the Corporate Guest Services Awards ceremony on 24 June, when the industry will come together to celebrate excellence across all areas of guest services.
