David Taylor named chief executive of Kew Green Hotels

David Taylor has been appointed chief executive of Kew Green Hotels, taking over from interim CEO James Kim.

Since 13 October, Taylor has been managing the international hotel management company’s portfolio of over 50 hotels across the UK, which features brands such as Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, Voco, and Courtyard by Marriott.

He said: “It is a privilege to join Kew Green Hotels at such an exciting time. The group has an outstanding reputation for excellence in hospitality and a forward-thinking approach to growth.

Kew Green Hotels was founded in 2001 and in 2015 was sold to HK CTS Hotels Co, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China National Travel Service Group Corporation in a £400m deal.

Its hotel management portfolio spans the UK, Hong Kong, Morocco and Thailand.
