Dubai's Gaia restaurant to make UK debut in 2023
Chef Izu Ani's Gaia restaurant will be making its UK debut in London's Mayfair in 2023.
It will open a 9,500 sq ft, multi-level restaurant in the One Berkeley Square development.
Ani, the restaurateur behind Gaia, Kitch-In and Izu Burger, is regarded as one of Dubai's celebrity chefs.
He has also worked at the two Michelin-starred La Bastide Saint Antoine in Grasse, France, and La Petite Maison in London.
Gaia is a Greek-Mediterranean style taverna dining concept with branches in Dubai's financial district and Monte Carlo.
The London flagship venue is also due to include a fish market, outdoor seating, an elevated lounge and cocktail bar, a wine room, and the NYX members club.
Gaia will be joined at the Berkeley Square scheme by 1 Hotel Mayfair, a luxury and sustainability-focused lifestyle hotel run by SH Hotels & Resorts, which announced its opening in June.
