Dubai’s three-Michelin-star Trèsind heads to London

Dubai-based Passion F&B is bringing its Indian restaurant brand Trèsind to London.

The hospitality group revealed on Instagram that the fine dining restaurant will open in Mayfair: “A journey of flavour, creativity and elegance awaits, as a new chapter unfolds – Trèsind London Mayfair, coming soon.”

Trèsind’s original site opened in Dubai in 2014, while its follow up, Trèsind Studio, arrived in the same Emirate’s Palm Jumeirah in 2018. This year it was awarded three Michelin stars.

Michelin said that Trèsind Studio, with head chef Himanshu Saini, serves “striking and truly memorable creations, with plenty of theatre added in”.

The Indian restaurant brand is also present in India, with a site in Mumbai.

Passion F&B said Trèsind London will bring “the spirit of modern Indian fine dining to the heart of the UK capital”, and added: “Fusing age-old Indian flavours with innovative global techniques, the restaurant offers a curated culinary journey in an elegant, immersive setting.”

Dishes served at Trèsind include ghee-roast crab with burnt cinnamon, lobster tail with pickled carrot, and Alleppey curry and kebab scarpetta with sourdough toasts.

Passion F&B, which was founded 11 years ago, operates contemporary Indian food concepts in Dubai and India, including Avatara, Maison De Curry, Bistro Aamara, A Cappella, Nonnaverse, Viva La Goa and Gala By Tresind.
