Eike Clausen takes general manager role at Park Hyatt London River Thames

Park Hyatt London River Thames has announced the appointment of Eike Clausen as general manager.

Clausen joins Hyatt with nearly two decades of international luxury hospitality experience, replacing Rike Erdbrink who took up the role of general manager at Gleneagles earlier this year.

Clausen was most recently cluster general manager for Kempinski Palace Portorož, Slovenia, and Kempinski Hotel Adriatic in Savudrija, Croatia.

He has held senior leadership positions across sales and marketing, rooms division and executive management across the Kempinski Hotel group, before being appointed to his first general manager role at Kempinski Hotel Aqaba in Jordan.

Earlier this month, the hotel appointed Guy Betteridge as executive chef and Louis Stacher as food and beverage director in a move to bolster its F&B offer.
