First Look: Exclusive Collection unveils new bedrooms at Ansty Hall
The B Corp-certified hotel group acquired the Coventry property back in 2023
Exclusive Collection has revealed the first images of seven newly refurbished bedrooms at Ansty Hall in Coventry.
The B Corp-certified hotel group acquired the 17th century property back in 2023 and has now completed the first phase of a wider restoration programme that will continue into 2027.
The new rooms take inspiration from the region’s historic weaving industry and raise the total number of bedrooms available at Ansty Hall to 63.
Both the Leofric and Whittle rooms have been designed in partnership with Russell Sage Studio, with Leofric taking its name from Leofric, Earl of Mercia, previous landholder of Ansty village, while Whittle is a nod to the Coventry-born Sir Frank Whittle, who invented the world’s first turbojet engine.
The Leofric room (£395 B&B) features a carved timber bed, warm ochre fabrics and a freestanding copper bath, while the Whittle (£250 B&B) takes inspiration from the aviation industry.
Five more rooms have been designed by Trevillion Interiors, all of which pay homage to local craftmanship and textiles.
The signature Woad room (£310 B&B) is named after the plant that produced Coventry’s ‘true blue’ dye and showcases bespoke, colourful furnishings.

Since Ansty Hall joined the Exclusive Collection, we’ve sought to be a place of discovery, and welcome all visitors to slow down, take in their surroundings and be part of the next chapter of Ansty Hall’s story.”
Ansty Hall also offers Twine restaurant, four even spaces, and the High Chai Afternoon Tea experience.
Exclusive Collection operates eight properties across the UK, including Pennyhill Park in Surrey and South Lodge in West Sussex.
