First Look: Nick Jones’ St Clement hotel to open in September
The 90-bedroom hotel in London’s Temple has begun welcoming friends for a soft summer launch period
The first images of Nick Jones’ highly anticipated St Clement hotel in London’s Temple have been revealed.
The 90-bedroom property marks the Soho House founder’s first independent hotel project since he stepped down as chief executive of the global members’ club in 2022.
The hotel at 180 The Thames, designed by interior designers Eagle + Hodges, has soft launched for the summer and is due to officially open its doors in September.
The St Clement hotel is home to 15 suites, called river lofts, and 100 residential apartments on Embankment. Guests can access concierge services as well as a membership to Soho House and the soon-to-open health club, featuring a 25-metre swimming pool, gym and treatment rooms.
Later this month, Jones will open all-day Café Clement in partnership with Danny Bohan, the former River Café head chef, who will serve dishes such as spatchcocked chicken and Dorset crab.
The hotel will also welcome restaurant Lunette from Florence Knight, the former head chef at Sessions Arts Club in London’s Farringdon, in September.
Guests can enjoy Bobbi’s Bar until 3am, as well as grocer, baker, café and wine bar Corner Shop, which launched last year.
In an interview with FT HTSI, Jones described his hotel as the baby of Claridge’s and Chiltern Firehouse.
Jones founded Soho House in London in 1995 to act as a hub for people working in the creative industries.
