The Foodservice Cateys return for 2026, recognising the brightest and best talent across the contract catering sector
There is just one week left to nominate the people and businesses that make the foodservice sector exceptional.
The Foodservice Cateys will return to the Royal Lancaster London on 9 October, where The Caterer will honour and celebrate the individuals and teams shaping the future of foodservice.
The awards recognise excellence across the sector, from catering managers, chefs and front-of-house teams to business and industry, healthcare and education caterers.
This year’s awards also feature a new category: Procurement Professional of the Year. Launched to recognise the growing strategic importance of procurement within foodservice, the award will celebrate individuals who are driving innovation across the supply chain, strengthening supplier relationships and delivering measurable value to their organisations.
Open to professionals working across public and private sector contract catering, the category aims to shine a spotlight on those improving purchasing performance, managing costs and helping businesses navigate an increasingly complex operating environment.

The impact of winning a Foodservice Catey can elevate a company or a team to industry superstar status, as these past five winners can attest to.
Ben Tobin-Paris, deputy managing director at Moving Venue, which won Event Caterer of the Year last year, said the business entered because “we wanted to see how we stacked up against the very best. The Cateys are the benchmark in foodservice, so entering felt like a natural step to validate what we’ve built”.
The winners represent the finest that the foodservice industry has to offer, and winning is a milestone achievement for individuals and businesses.
Winning one of the 22 Foodservice Cateys is significant because recipients are nominated, selected and rewarded by their peers and so is the industry’s only independent benchmark of operational excellence.
Nominations are open for those you feel deserve recognition. If you know of an individual, business or organisation worthy of these prestigious awards, we want to hear from you.
