The Foodservice Cateys return for 2026 to recognise the brightest and best talent across the contract catering sector
The Foodservice Cateys 2026 are open for entries, showcasing the exceptional work the foodservice sector does to feed the nation.
Now in its fourteenth year, The Caterer’s premier foodservice awards returns this autumn to honour high achievers across foodservice. The awards cover 22 categories and recognise the breadth of the foodservice industry, from catering managers to front-of-house teams and chefs, as well as business and industry, healthcare and education caterers.
This year the Foodservice Cateys also include a new Procurement Professional Award, recognising outstanding individuals who oversee the acquisition of good and services and have responsibility for supplier management, cost control and operational support.
Winning a Foodservice Catey is significant because recipients are nominated, selected and rewarded by their peers. Nominations are now open for those who you feel deserve recognition.

Phil Shelley, who received the Outstanding Contribution Award at last year’s Foodservice Cateys, said: “Receiving the award was a complete surprise – both incredibly humbling and deeply meaningful. It also serves as a reminder that there is always more to be done.”
The former hospital chef, who went on to chair the Independent Review of NHS Hospital Food, added that to win an award is “the pinnacle for any chef, leader or caterer in our incredible industry”.
If you want to nominate yourself, or you know of an individual, business or organisation worthy of any of our prestigious awards, we want to hear from you.
The Foodservice Cateys will take place on 9 October at the Royal Lancaster London, where the industry will once again have the opportunity to celebrate together.
