Brakes has scooped the top prize in the 2009 Caterer and Hotelkeeper Excellence in Food & Drink Awards announced at London's Dorchester hotel.
Judges gave the coveted Gold Award to company's Blacksticks Blue Cheese & Walnut Soufflé which they praised for its "fabulous taste and texture" and "great visual appeal", concluding that it would be "a delicious option on any gastro pub menu".
