A new home and a fresh start
This week, Caterer and Hotelkeeper comes to you under new ownership and from a new address in central London.
Travel and media entrepreneur Clive Jacobs has acquired the Caterer and Hotelkeeper Group from Reed Business Information. The acquisition is Jacobs's second from Reed, following the purchase of the Travel Weekly Group in 2009.
Exciting times lie ahead for the market-leading title for the UK's vibrant hospitality sector.
For a while, at least, you'll see no discernible difference to the way we serve you. We'll continue to publish the magazine you're holding to the best of our abilities, just as we've been doing every week for the past 134 years.
We'll carry on posting the latest industry news and views on Catererandhotelkeeper.com.
We'll still hold blue riband events such as the Cateys and Hotel Cateys and, through them, recognise and applaud best practice across the industry.
But you can expect much more to come from us, in future.
Our change of ownership will enable us to reinvigorate and expand our products in print, online and in person.
So: expect richer, more innovative multimedia content; a raft of new digital products and live events aimed at helping you run a better business; and exciting link-ups with our sister publication, Travel Weekly.
The eâ€'mail addresses and telephone numbers may have changed, but our commitment to serving hospitality professionals remains as strong and as unwavering as ever.
