Accent Catering wins trio of school contracts
Accent Catering Services has won a trio of school meals contracts taking its annual turnover past the £5m mark for the first time.
The contracts, worth £2.1m in annual turnover in total, will see the Berkshire-based caterer feed more than 2,000 pupils and staff at four separate schools.
At Accent's new deal at the Langley Academy in Slough, Berkshire, the caterer is incorporating live-theatre cooking, a cashless till system and high-street style grab-and-go options.
Accent other wins include the Cavendish school in London's Camden, where the menu will include organic milk, cheese and eggs, and the Belmore Primary and Brookside Primary schools in Hayes, Middlesex.
Set up in 2002, the company is fronted by managing director Gordon Haggarty with Derek Warman, co-founder and financial director; Clare Piggot, director; and Julia Edwards, business development manager, comprising the senior team.
